Dentons has continued to expand its partnership in Brisbane by hiring a corporate partner.

Caroline Snow has joined Dentons after two years at Brisbane law firm AJ&Co Lawyers.

She is a corporate partner with a focus on equity capital markets transactions, as well as corporate governance, compliance and regulatory issues. Snow has also previously acted for clients including those involving listed and unlisted managed investment plans, those in the financial services sector, activist security holders and property and mortgage fund advisers.

In a statement Dentons’ Australia region chair and Australasia CEO Doug Stipanicev noted the firm’s addition of four new partners in Brisbane in the last six months. The firm’s target headcount for the number of partners in Brisbane is 10.

Stipanicev said: “Brisbane remains an important market for Dentons,” adding that “with [Snow]’s appointment, we have again expanded our offering in Brisbane for the benefit of our clients, and will continue this expansion in other Australian markets in the coming weeks and months.”

Prior to her most recent position, Snow was a corporate and financial services partner at Russells for two years, following three years as special counsel at Melbourne-headquartered law firm HWL Ebsworth. Before this she worked at Wellington Capital.

Her addition to Dentons’ Brisbane office follows the arrival of Brisbane restructuring partner Claire Petersen from Lavan in in April.

In wider Australia, Dentons recently hired Perth recovery and restructuring partner John Park from Kott Gunning Lawyers

HSF made a Sydney restructuring hire in September last year.
